Rokhaya Ciss\u00e9<\/p><p>\u00c9tabli en 2012 au sein de l'IFAN Cheikh Anta Diop, LARTES-IFAN se distingue par son expertise multidisciplinaire couvrant l'\u00e9ducation, la pauvret\u00e9, la sant\u00e9 reproductive, la gouvernance et l'\u00e9conomie sociale. Au-del\u00e0 de la production acad\u00e9mique, le laboratoire g\u00e9n\u00e8re des connaissances qui \u00e9clairent directement les d\u00e9cisions politiques et programmatiques. Son travail s'\u00e9tend du S\u00e9n\u00e9gal \u00e0 plusieurs autres pays africains. Au sein de l'espace FLN, il se concentre principalement sur les \u00e9valuations et la recherche-action men\u00e9es par les citoyens.<\/p><h4><strong>Activit\u00e9s principales<\/strong><\/h4><ul><li>Recherche appliqu\u00e9e et innovations m\u00e9thodologiques<\/li><li>Formation des enseignants, \u00e9valuation de l'apprentissage et rem\u00e9diation<\/li><li>Collecte et utilisation de donn\u00e9es factuelles<\/li><\/ul><h4><strong>Impact r\u00e9cent<\/strong><\/h4><ul><li>ELANA, un programme d'\u00e9valuation du langage, de la litt\u00e9ratie et de la num\u00e9ratie chez les jeunes enfants, a touch\u00e9 5 178 enfants \u00e2g\u00e9s de 4 \u00e0 10 ans dans 180 districts de recensement \u00e0 l'\u00e9chelle nationale en 2024. Les donn\u00e9es ont permis au r\u00e9seau PAL de diffuser largement les r\u00e9sultats aux niveaux mondial, national et communautaire. Les r\u00e9sultats ont contribu\u00e9 \u00e0 modifier les politiques, en mettant l'accent non plus sur les intrants mais sur les processus et les r\u00e9sultats d'apprentissage.<\/li><li>L'\u00e9tude KAPB, men\u00e9e en f\u00e9vrier-mars 2025 sur les connaissances, les attitudes, les pratiques et les croyances des enseignants (KAPB), a impliqu\u00e9 112 \u00e9coles dans quatre r\u00e9gions du S\u00e9n\u00e9gal (Diourbel, Kaolack, Matam et Saint-Louis). Au total, 205 questionnaires destin\u00e9s aux enseignants et 50 s\u00e9ances d'observation en classe ont \u00e9t\u00e9 r\u00e9alis\u00e9s.\u00a0<\/li><\/ul><h4><strong>Une vision pour l'avenir<\/strong><\/h4><p>Transformer l'Afrique gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 des politiques publiques fond\u00e9es sur des donn\u00e9es probantes en combinant rigueur acad\u00e9mique et engagement fort sur le Its main focus within the FLN space is on citizen-led assessments and action research. Key Activities Applied research and methodological innovations Teacher training, learning assessment, and remediation Collection and use of evidence-based data Recent Impact ELANA, an Early Language, Literacy, and Numeracy Assessment Program, reached 5,178 children aged 4 to 10 years across 180 census districts nationwide in 2024. The data enabled the PAL network to widely disseminate the results at the global, national and community levels. The results contributed to policy changes, shifting the focus from inputs to processes and learning outcomes. The KAPB study, conducted in February\u2013March 2025 on teachers\u2019 knowledge, attitudes, practices, and beliefs (KAPB), involved 112 schools in four regions of Senegal (Diourbel, Kaolack, Matam and Saint-Louis). A total of 205 teacher questionnaires and 50 classroom observation sessions were conducted. Vision for the Future Transforming Africa through evidence-based public policies by combining academic rigor with strong field engagement, so that robust research informs decision-making and genuinely serves citizens.
